eSim via Kundencenter

Hello :),

 

I have a prepaid sim, and I wanted to switch to eSim.. and I did that via the Kundencenter.. but once it was activated my original "physical" sim was disabled immediately .. now in my kundencenter I see a message "esim code ansehen".. but when I click it and follow the instructions it asks me to enter security code which was sent to my number per SMS.. how I am supposed to enter it while my sim card is disabled? seems like I'm locked out? can you please help?

      Kundennummer = customer number

      Rückrufnummer = eine Nummer,  unter der man dich anrufen kann.

      Hello @ahmed.elnagger,

      welcome here to our Telekom hilft Community. I'm not sure if it is better to communicate in English or in German because your German sounds good as well.

      Did you write your posting directly after the change to an eSIM? It can take until to 30 minutes before you can see your activation code in the customer center.
      Did you try that again?

      If it is not working at all, please tell us again. When is the perfect time to contact you then?

      Ich habe es so gelesen, dass @ahmed.elnaggar nur einen Vertrag bei der Telekom hat und für den Download der eSIM im Kundencenter die SMS TAN benötigt, die an eben diese eSIM gesendet wird, also Katze Schwanz Prinzip.

       

      Für diesen Fall gibt es einen Prozess, ihm ausnahmsweise ein eSIM Profil elektronisch unverschlüsselt zukommen zu lassen, da die Shops größtenteils geschlossen haben.

      Hi @Simone W. @I think @Mächschen explained it in German better than I could do , that’s exactly the situation right now I can’t download the profile because the SMS tan goes to the eSIM which I can’t use it yet

      Hi @ahmed.elnaggar,

      the only thing we can do for now is to send you a new activation code via letter/post.
      Are you available by your mobile phone number? We have to call for a short time so that I can legitimize you and your data.

      @Mächschen, vielen lieben Dank für die Hilfe, aber es gibt diese Möglichkeit der unverschlüsselten Übertragung nicht. Uns bleibt leider nur der Weg über den herkömmlichen Brief.
