How long to Get a SIM card

Hello,
I recently ordered a SIM card (Perpaid) sim card from Telekom, the ordering and identification all went fine. I received a mail that I would be informed once the card is send. I contacted Telekom support through chat (höfliches Deutsch). Asked them the question as to if the card is sent and/or how long it takes? Their answer "It should arrive soon and I don't have any other information", then simply a disconnect :). This happened twice, none asked if there were any other questions, no good bye, nothing.
My question, if someone experienced the same, how long does it take and does Telekom inform its customer when sending a SIM card?
