vor 7 Jahren

Hi. I am out of Europe for while but I need to use my T- sim. What should I do and which services should I have?

      Hallo @mahmoud51,

      What country are you in?

I ask, because different countries have different requirements

      For example:

In north and south America you need a mobile phone that supports other mobile standards (tri-band or quad band mobile phone).

If you want to make phone calls in Japan or Korea, you need a UMTS-eanabled mobile phone. UMTS can not only used to transmit data,

but also to make phone calls.

The frequency, must also be correct. (850,900,1800 and 1900 MHz)

      At first:

What is your country of residence?

      Is the mobile phone useable?

In europe , the principle is as follows: "Room like at home".

Thank you for the feedback, @mahmoud51.

But then unfortunately I have the sad news that it is on the local provider.
Here we have no way to continue. Traurig

      Kind regards.

But how could it be possible?

I need to get calls and SMS during my trips and on my last trip 2 months ago it was working, also local provider says they didn't change anything. So what can I do?

      Hello @mahmoud51,

well, as my colleagues already told you, is an issue with the local provider in the first place. So it is important to check on the issue with them.
Nevertheless, sometimes it helps to take out the SIM and put it in again.
      Did you try that already?

      Regards,

      Jana K.
