You can take a look at Hologram.io, they are really uncomplicated but sadly don't support NB-Iot or Cat-M1 yet (only 2G/ 3G / 4G ) but you are not bound to Telekom networks (Vodafone/O2 work as well).
Vodafone seems to provide an NB-IoT network right now but I did not try it yet (I only know that unlike Telekom, Vodafone DOES have coverage here and not only in some random small test areas).

Both of them will for sure be more responsive to questions and will be happy to do business with, unlike the Telekom which does not seem interested at all.
