Request to Transfer My Number to Another Provider and Cancel Prepaid Contract

Hello Telekom Support,

I would like to transfer my current prepaid number to another provider (number portability). Please let me know the steps required to

initiate the number transfer and also how to cancel my prepaid contract with Telekom. I want to keep my current number when

switching to the new operator.

Thank you for your support!

Best regards,

Abhay

With prepaid contracts, you can port your mobile number to another provider at the end of the contract or thereafter. If you would like to port your mobile number to another provider, please cancel your prepaid contract. You can do this by phone, or a Teamie can help. (0800 330 2202, 2202 from a mobile phone). Two tips for you: When canceling, please indicate that you intend to port the number to another provider. Please ensure that you have sufficient prepaid credit to cover the export fee at the time of the porting request. Upon receipt of your cancellation, we will terminate the prepaid contract with 14 business days' notice. Once you have received your cancellation confirmation, you can request number porting from your new provider.

I tried calling the number, but unfortunately I don't speak German. Could you please help me initiate the request to cancel my prepaid contract with number portability? I would like to port my mobile number to another provider.

Let me know if you need any details from my side.

      Thank you!

Hello @abhay0609 and thank you for the pleasant call.

I'm happy that I could answer all of your questions. To cancel your current prepaid plan and take your number with you to another provider, please fill out the following form, which you can find here.

Please make sure to indicate the transfer of the phone number in the appropriate place in the form, simply select "Ja" at "Möchten Sie Ihre Rufnummer zu einem anderen Anbieter mitnehmen?".

Feel free to write again If there's anything else I may help you with. Have a nice evening and a sunny rest of the week. 🌇

      Kind regards

      Malte
