Sim being sent to wrong address

Hello,
I ordered an eSim on Saturday through the Telekom website. On Monday night, I received an email saying my order will be with me soon with delivery information for a physical sim to be sent to an incorrect address. I spoke with customer service this morning asking them to redirect the package as it had not been shipped yet, and although they said they would change the address to our current address, DHL is still showing the incorrect address and says it now as arrived in my region. Customer service told me that an eSim could not be given anyway, although I'm not sure why because I've had an eSim from them for quite a while. Any advice on this situation? My only option though DHL is to refuse delivery, which I'd rather not do if there is a way to intercept it or receive an eSIM.

What is the tariff that you have ordered? Prepaid?
Alternatively - how could you order an eSIM and processed is the order with a physical SIM?
Where does the incorrect address come from?
What address is written in your ID card/German document as valid address - that might be the relevant one.

You can also redirect the shipment to a post office.

But how come the delivery address is different?
Have you ever moved?
For a new contract, the eSIM/SIM only comes by post.
