Unknown Charges on my Prepaid Plan!

Hi Telekom,

I recently topped up £15 in my prepaid account on the app and was planning to use it to refill my data plan. I am using the MobilPrepaid XL plan. However over the span of 1 week I am noticing the value of my money decreasing. I have been mainly using data and only had a local call once. From what I know, the local calls in Germany should be free why am I getting charged?

Please look into it and disclose some transparency in this Matter .

      I’m not sure what is my customer number, but have filled up my Handynummer as well as my phone model. Hope that will do.

      In order to activate the package you need at least up to 24,95 € - and a little patience, because activation does not happen real-time but rather it can take hours.

      This is true only if the package is active. If activation failed due to an insufficient prepaid account level then local calls in Germany have a price tag of 9 Cent/min.

      My number was activated 16 days ago, and my recharge was 6 days ago. I’m pretty sure my calls and SMS should be free…

      Looks strange.

       

      Unexpected costs are frequently due to a stay outside of Germany - with the mobile phone connected to the WLAN.

       

      WLAN calls then are free towards Germany, however local calls in the country where you stay or calls to other countries are handled as pay-per-minute calls, from Germany to the foreign country.

       

      With WLAN deactivated one can avoid unexpected costly calls.

      I have WLAN call on, but I don’t think I have called anyone from outside of germany which is pretty strange.
