Homebase 2 will not connected to WLAN automatically again after disconnection
vor 5 Jahren
Hi There,
I just changed my home base to the 2. generation which support a wlan connection.-
But it disconnects the WLAN sometimes and will not connect again to the WLAN by itself automatically.
I need to use the "Anmeldund" button of the home base and connect to the router with WPS manually.
And after re-start of the Home base 2, it will not connect to the WLAN automatically as well.
this is really problematic if it is disconnected and not connected again by itself when I am away from home. I cannot reach the gateway from the SmartHome App!!
if someone has the same issue? How it can be solved? Or it is just a problem with my home base?
Thanks
best Regards

Hi @Malte M. ,
I am not sure what is the sense of "keep your Home Base disconnected from the power for at least fifteen minutes"
you mean I need to keep the Home base disconnected from the power and then it will connect to the wifi automatically?
I don't get your point, what is the relationship between the two things.
But I tried. it still has the same problem.
after a restart of the Home base or a restart of the router, the Home Base gets no connection to the WIFI by itself anymore.
I need to do it manually by using WPS function.
Thanks and best regards,

it seems your homebase forgets the wifi-network, when you restart it. You can try a reset and new setup for the homebase. Do you have any additional accesspoints or repeaters in use?
A lan-connection is recommended for the homebase, so a possible solution is a fritz-repeater with a lan-port.
