for WiFi it runs at 2.4 and 5 GHz but issue is not related to wifi (sync light flashing)
Do you use power line?
No, it is a standard router.
DSL Sync light drops off, no internet even though wifi is active.

Power lines has nothing to do with the router but they are adapters like Devolo or AVM.
Since you are having PPPoE errors and reconnects you should either report a malfunction using the diagnostic assistance here or wait for a Telekom team member to assist you. (It can take some time for a team member to show up since they are pretty busy.)
